Arrived at fish lake a little after 1100 this morning. Weather was sunny with a light wind and a surface water temp of 47-49. I began trolling a wedding ring with half a crawler and got hit within 10 minutes. I was out with my limit at 1220. All the fish were small planters, but lots of fun on an ultralite. I haven't gotten too many cutts yet this year, but they pick up when the water warms up.

Right on... I had a few min to kill and stopped by the other morning. Tried marshmallow and worm casted over the cement blocks. Missed a hook set , but was a real nice morning.. lots of birds were out.

I've seen more birds this year at that lake than I ever have before. If you make it out to Deep and have any luck, let me know. I'm still curious about that lake.
