Had a blast the last couple of afternoons. Perch start to bite after 3 pm usualy closer to 4 pm. Fishing in 30+ feet of water with a jig and maggots or Perch eyes. When the bite is on, its on. Pull fish up as fast as you can drop your line in. Caught almost two dozen today. They range is size from 7 inches to 9 and are fat because they are full of eggs. Ice is 5 to 6 inches thick.
