Rock lake produced once again and this time the weather even cooperated, nice and sunny and not much wind. We started off on the south end with rapalas and had a decent brown in the boat right out of the gate. Things slowed for us until we picked up a rainbow going up the east side. We motored to our usual spot at the north end to only pick up one rainbow. A couple hours of slow fishing promted us to join the fleet of boats off Johnson beach and we started hitting fish consistantly. One bow was 2.5# plus and the rest were avg for rock.
Not the most productive day, but one of the more pleasant ones weather wise in a while. The most productive lure was green flies and some fish picked up on orange apex and rapalas of various colors. Depth was 10 to 20 ft. speed 1 to 1.75.
