Went to Square Lake with my girlfriend Sunday evening. The weather was sunny and warm. Tons of lily pads on the lake and a few people at the park. Decided to try bluegill fishing from the shore (along the secluded path along the wooded shoreline). Saw tons of bluegill hitting the top of the water eating bugs. We ended up catching 12 or so bluegill in the short time we visited. I was surprised at how large the sunfish were in this lake. We caught 2 that were the size of my hand (not pictured). My girlfriend definitely enjoyed catching these fierce little fish on her light weight spinning reel. Very excellent fishing for bluegill!
