I finally got back out fishing! Since I started work I haven't had the time or energy to get out, but since I had today off I figured I'd give it a go before yard work.
I arrived at the lake around 0920 to sunny skies, little wind, and a water temp between 62-63F. The water level is down to the other side of the blocks making launching by myself a bit difficult, but still doable. I was trolling a willow leaf with a pink wedding ring behind and limited on cutts in an hour. They ranged in size from 11"-14".
There were two other boats on the lake when I left, one of which kept getting harassed by the local eagle. Each time they'd get a fish on that dang bird would try to steal it. Fun to watch, but I felt bad for the anglers after the third time.
