I got home from college a week ago and wanted to get after some bass so me and a buddy decided to try out beaver this morning. Fishing was okay. We through a variety of different plastics, and topwater baits, but plastics seemed to be the way to go. Stuck this hawg on a brown/black senko and caught several other dinks on watermelon senkos. my buddy also lost one that would have went at least two, maybe three pounds. had some fun fishing for crappie and perch too. this lake looks very bassy, but is extremely weedy which was a little annoying. but, all in all, a successsful day of fishing and will be back!
