Fishing solo, I launched my boat onto Lake Wooten to check out the bass. Weather was warm, sunny and the winds were very light. Spent most of the time just looking along the shore line but did try a few casts at my favorite spots. Caught no fish, saw no spawning nests but did see 3 nice bass -- one was a solo fish and about 3 pounds, the other two were together and one was huge (probably over 7 pounds) and the other between about 4-5 pounds. Had a nice view of the Cascade peaks from the water. Two other boats on the lake -- one resident and there was one rig & trailer parked in the access area. Wooten Lake has the most "Party Barge Boats" and "Floating Dock Boats" that I have ever seen. There were dozens of them -- not on the lake but parked at private docks. Nice to revisit one of my favorite lakes.
