Wooten Lake (68 acres): Wooten is about 7 miles west of Belfair, and should provide fair-to-good fishing, with rainbows up to 10 inches and some cutthroat. A state access with two toilets is available.
Mason County's Wooten Lake covers 68 surface acres and reaches depths of 36 feet. It is located at 407 feet of elevation. Fish species include Rainbow and Cutthroat trout and largemouth bass. Public access is provided by the Washington State Department Fish and Wildlife. The large access area has lots of parking space, a new pit toilet (2003) and a concrete plank boat launching ramp. The ramp has a few broken concrete planks and a drop off at the end of the ramp. Bob Johansen
