Wow, Jay, only 3 fish? Must have been a slow bite. I didn't make it out due to having a dental appt this morning. May try it tomorrow A.M. if the rain doesn't get too heavy, although I won't venture out deep. You mentioned the ice is drilling funny.....is it getting wet and oxygenated? That open water extending out from the NW bay is becoming disconcerting. It's really opening up with this warm weather, although some cold air later this week will slow things down a bit.

Yeah that ice is about toast in places. Probably should play it safe during a rainy thaw like this and fish Eloika maybe. The colder weather should bring another round of safer ice for Silver.
