Twenty degrees and the sun is shining... grabbed the hand warmers and the jalapeno chips and hit the lake around noon, the only thing I forgot was the sonar, so I was fishing blind. The clarity of Rock is definitely turning. Trolled for a while with some success, just no size. Changed over to marabou jigs tipped with worm and caught a few, still no size, just skinny 14" browns. Moved up lake to a known spot and trolled deep looking for a big'un and finally hooked up and fought a couple larger bows 2-2.5# to the boat. Lost a few too. The wind came up and at 24 degrees that meant it was time to go.
