A friend and I hit up Silver about 8am on Sunday morning. Weather was overcast with a little drizzle. Water temp was showing 60 at the boat launch. We worked our way from Ruby's down past the stumps on the east side fo the lake to the point. We were casting everything we had, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, swimmers of various sizes and colors with no luck. We did see a large Tiger cruise below the stern of the boat in a about 12ft of water off the point but he had no interest in what we were tossing.
