I finally got a little time off work and decided a few days ago that I would fish all day today...no matter what. It started this morning at Beaver Lake, which I had all to myself. And even though it rained most of the time I was there, the fishing was pretty good. The water level in the lake is getting close to (what I think is) normal, but the weeds are getting thick. I spent most of my time drifting a small weightless plastic worm around the grass patches...and then picking that grass off my lure. I did manage to catch and release over a dozen largemouth bass, the two largest are pictured. Tough fishing, but there are catchable bass here.
