I just joined as a member today and wanted to make my first post a positive one. Went out to silver last night going to try my luck with the muskies. No luck on them didnt even get a follower. However, did manage to catch 3 largemouths that were all in the 2 1/2 to 3 pound range. And my 9 year even manged to pull out a couple little ones. I was using a 1/2 oz black spinnerbait with about 6 strands of yellowi tip with a black curly-tailed grub. Had good luck with that set-up before with the muskies but last night it was all bass. Tried our luck for bluegill for a while but didnt have any luck with them. Obviously doing something wrong for them. Any tips for the lake would be appreciated because my sucess on the lake is spotty and would like to step it up. Plan to be out on the lake again atleast once this weekend. Look for the litttle blue row boat and say hi. Sorry about the one picture it was taken with my phone.

You might want to partner up with the Mountain Muskies. We are the newest chapter of Muskies Inc here in Spokane. Here is a link to the forum page if you are interested. A lot of great guys and some good knowledge.
http://washingtonlakes.com/Forum/default.aspx?g=topics&f=16 The forum page is sponsored by Chapter 57, the Tiger Pac. Takes a lot of patience to catch a muskie.....

Thanks for the link I will deffanatly check it out. I had ok luck with the muskie last summer but so far this year I havent even had a follower. Its kind of hard finding the fish with no electronics. Makes me feel like im blind on the water. Any one know anything about the portable fish finders you can buy? I have heard a little bit about them but dont realy know if they are worth the money.
