I decided to go to Island and try some LMB fishing for the first time this year. I arrived at 0800 but forgot my tackle box at home so I came home to get it. I got back to the lake at 0930. The weather started off ok with a little wind and no rain. I started fishing with a nightcrawler and bobber near the island with no bites. I swithched to a 3" black senko and started getting bites. My first fish was a small 7" bass. I moved around to the back of the island and caught a 1.5lber. I caught a couple more small one's before I left at 1330.
