Opening day was not the worst this year. All got our limits in about 5 hours of fishing. anchored on the west side of the lake for the daybreak bite and only landed one in the boat. About 9:30 decided to join all the boats on the east side of the lake by the inlet creek. within about an hour we all had our limits of 10" trout. We were blessed with sunshine and a little bit of wind. The people trolling were having great success today. We used mutiple colors of power bait off the bottom with long leaders. Good time with my bro, Thomas and rookie Josh.
