Got on the water around 3:30 fished till dark. Bright and sunny, with no wind, lake was glass. Water was extremely murky with a lot of scum etc. Visibility maybe 3-4 ft. Tried trolling rapalas in black and silver, rainbow trout, and perch... no takers, just kept picking up scum. Motored to the upper end and caught 3 skinny 14-16" browns using a black marabou jig tipped with worm, and put them back to grow. Talked with a few guys at take out who had ok success with cast and retrieve of rapalas in shallow water, and another guy that was catching by the launch area with worm and bobber, not much size.
Haven't been to Rock in a about a month, water level was down probably 8 -10 inches. If you don't know where the rock spires are, take it slow, or you'll loose a lower unit at this water level!
