Got off work and decided to see if the 60 degree weather encouraged the perch to move into the shallows and be a little bit more aggresive. No luck again, oh well. If your looking for the perch at silver this time of year, you have to be able to find them. Even if you do, the bite is slow. Give it another month if the weather holds. Quite a few people throwing cranks for bass and muskie. They didn't seem to do well either. If you find the perch this early in the year PLEASE COMMENT. I need something to do after work besides getting skunked. Also I will probably be doing some shore fishing at Sprague this weekend and I'll be sure to let you guys know how it goes. I have been to Silver a few times over the last 2 weeks and tried for bass,muskie,and perch.Not even seeing any sign of fish. I think the bass and muskie will pick up but I was a little concerned with how hard the perch were fished for this winter on the ice. I read soooo many posts on bucket fulls caught and was out there my self a couple of times and it was always being fished hard.Guess we will find out!Good luck and thanks for your posts.
