12/13/2009 9:49:00 PMGreat report! I'm headed to Cabela's tomorrow to pickup gear for my first outing ever on ice. Been reading a lot on basspro as well as ice fishing forums to pickup tips. Missed out on the Cabela's ice fishing class yesterday. I miss those yellow lake perch - used to fish for 'em out of Lake Michigan.
