I took my 2 1/2 year old out this afternoon for some fishing. I brought along one of my ice rods for him to play/fish with. He reeled in his first fish, I couldn't believe it!! I got it off the hook for him and he wanted to hold it. After checking the gill out for a minute he chucked it over board to swim another day!! What a day, he was so excited!!

I have a 2 1/2 year old as well and he's just starting out.......Great job to the little guy pictured!!!

Great post! I really enjoy seeing kids catch their fish and look forward to the day when I get to take future grand kids out to fish. Nice boat too, looks like a Sportsman from the pics! ;-)
