Much slower today than yesterday, most likely due to much warmer temps (upper 80s) and lack of wind. Surface water temp 73 upon arrival and 76 upon my departure. Very little surface activity despite ongoing midge hatches. Only 4 hookups in 4 hours of fishing, with three 17-19" rainbows to net. Only 2 other subtle takes that were missed. All strikes on damsel nymphs, two on the bottom and the other two at 18 feet or so. Another gentleman who fished the north end got only 2 fish while fishing buggers deep. Water is still incredibly clean and clear for this time of year.
