Although the weather and lake were beautiful for the most part both days this weekend, the fish just weren't hitting anything I had to offer. I tried all types of different colored spinners and cranks, different depths, and pretty much covered the lake. We had two fish finders running and they were both showing fish but nothing wanted to come out and play.

The water temps were right around 50 both days so I don't know if it'sstill too cold or what...

This was my first time ever targeting muskie so maybe my approach was all wrong. If there's anyone who's got some good tiger muskie advise please let me know.

I fished Silver for about 3 hours for muskie midday on the 21st. i didn't get any follows or hits. I've done well in the past on jointed rapala's and small swimbaits (6 inches or less). The water temp hit 55 but I had to take care of some business so I couldn't stick around. I think the bite will heat up in early May. I think the fish are pretty spooky right now with the water so clear. My best advice is to fish small baits slow.

frerks: You should really consider putting a report in for days like that. Even 1 star reports help because other anglers might choose to avoid the lake and have better luck elsewhere.
