Got out to Amber a little later then we wanted. There were 3 other fisherman on the lake. There was about 9 inches of ice with water ontop of it and was just starting to giveway by the shore. My buddy and i caught 4 nice bows because a fellow angler gave us two little pink, silver minnow things. Watched him catch half a dozen or so, didnt fish at Amber long because we wanted to get out to little falls to try to catch some table fair (walleye)before dark.. They averaged about 17 inches and were a blast to catch!!

Hhowever, after this rain we are getting I am guessing a guy might be able to get out there tomorrow but might need a blank and I would recommend bringing a pal with a rope. lol...

-side note, Got out to two rivers around 3 and fished till 5, a few other anglers out there one had a nice 19-21 inch bow. Tried fishing by the bridge and the spillway with no luck. Ran into a tribal game warden who was very nice and let my friend and myself off the hook along with about 6 other guys who didnt have a tribal licence. ( I thought you could fish on one side where the bridge is but not the other what is what my friend said who i was fishing with but apparently he was wrong....) no bites, no fines, and a lot of rain!!
we used crawlers, and powerbait

There is one side of the Spokane Arm that is reservation. The side of the river with the Fort Spokane launch is a National Park with boat launches and campgrounds built with your tax payers dollars. If you were thrown out of that side than your tribal officer was severely mistaken. Here is a link showing Lake Roosevelt boundaries http://www.nps.gov/laro/planyourvisit/boating.htm. Now if you were fishing up by little falls dam than I am not sure what is what up there. You can always buy or look at maps at the BLM office. The maps are cheap and do a pretty good job of showing public, private, and reservation lands.
