2/23/2009 9:24:00 AMKeep in mind that this time of year perch can be tightly schooled. Your hole may be dead, but a hole just 10' away may be a killer. Also, look around for blood in the ice, or other signs of animals cleaning up remains on the ice. This can signal that others have done well in those holes. With perch, a good hole is usually going to be good most of the time, it just may need to be rested for a day or so.
