We hit the lake at 8:30 Sunday morning for a day of fishing on my favorite lake -- Lake Spencer. We headed out to the white bout on the Northwest side of the lake. After an hour or so of slow fishing we pulled up anchor and moved west a hundred yards or so and started drifting south with Rainbow Power Bait bouncing of the bottom. We'd start the drift in 10 feet of water and drifted to the 35' portion of the lake. We banged a nice trout every drift, sometimes in the first minute in the shallows, other times we'd hook up with 'em in the deeper water. WHAT A DAY!!! We landed our 10th fish just as it started to rain. We even caught a couple of cutthroats this trip out. All the fish were between 14 - 16" making for a full bucket of fish by the time we were done.
