Nice cold day to start out the 2009 fishing season. Sunny skies prevailed over a foggy morning. Caught fish consistently all day trolling plugs and flies. Didn't get any fish casting today. Primarily rainbows, 4 to 1 on the rainbow to brown count. Fish were primarily at 20 to 25 feet in depth. Largest fish around 18", smallest at 14".
The inlet didn't prove to be the hot spot although it is putting a 300 yard plume of mud into the system. Clear waters for the lake however, 36 degrees. As usual, great mid-winter fishing at Rock.
P.S. Water is high enough to make launching a non effort.
