Hit the lake around 9:30 with an electric blue wooley bugger and a bionic worm dropper. The weather was cooler and a bit breezy with limited sun. Hit my first fish in 10 or 15 minutes and fished until 1:00 or so. Fished really slow and on the bottom. Ended up with 15 for the day-a humbling trip compared to last Sunday. Had a great time as the lake was very quiet and only a couple other people out fishing. Really enjoyed watching the bald eagle periodically perched in the treetops and as he circled the lake a time or two.
Until next time...........tight lines and bent rods..............

Good job, Spoolguy! You've still got them dialed in. Seems as though that 40-fish day spoiled you! But, as we all know, a 15-fish day at Amber is still a very good day.....especially in August. Can you guys believe this great weather we're getting this year?
