Wife and I went to the Ocean this weekend, did a tour of the lakes of Gray Harbor Co. while we were out there. Stopped here for lunch on our way out, then again for dinner on our way home Sunday. Beautiful park, and a really nice little lake. On Friday around noon we fished around the dam - wife fished pb&worm on the bottom and I threw spinners. nothing. On Sunday late afternoon we fished in the picnic area under the trees (across from the swimming area.) Both using pb&worms, again nothing. Talked to the ranger who said that they had a couple fishing derbys already this season and that the lake is full of food right now, so not much was being caught by anybody lately.
