Tried my luck in my kayak on Limerick this afternoon, unfortunately the fish weren't really in the mood and the wind was not very cooperative. I did get one bite, around 3:30, on a black Zoom trick worm right next to a dock. Never felt the bite, but I saw my line moving off toward deeper water, so I reeled down and set the hook on this nice 4lb 4oz beauty. There weren't many other boats out there, but a couple ladies fishing from the bank at the launch had their limits of trout. Water temp was between 64 and 65 and very clear.

nice fish man last summer i went there at my buddies caban and caught sevral fish that size and one 6.9

Man what a fish!

I actually have a cabin on Lake Limerick and I've only been able to pull little guys out. Any chance you'll tell where on the lake you caught it? Thanks bmp3067

I was only a couple hundred yards from the boat launch on the same side of the lake. She came out from under a private dock without any boats tied to it, before you get to the little island with the bridge. I can't remember exactly which dock it was without seeing it again.
