Well Two friends and I decided to hit Rock Lake instead of the normal opening day lakes because they promised me they knew how to catch the Browns. They were right within four hours after getting there we had our limits. Beautiful 14 to 20 inch pink meated Browns. We were trolling Rippin minnows and these shallow running plugs did the trick. We trolled back and fourth in center third on the west side of the lake just outside of were there was floating weeds and moss. These fish fought nicely. No true bruisers but a great day on the water and a great mess of planters for the smoker. I talked them into heading to Coffee Pot for the next day of fishing, so check that report out.. Sorry no camera yet!
