8/8/2007 12:41:00 PMCole, I know this lake well, glad to see your report. You should hike up to the second lake beyond Coal. (Independance Lk.) It is only about .75 miles in. Of course you know the road is blocked before Coal. I've done really well in this lake, grant it, this was prob. 15 years ago. There is another lake about 500 ft. past coal. I think it is like .25 miles back, and still a fourth lake over the ridge beyond Independance lake.
