Lake Info?
The old site used to have a very good section as to information about lakes.
Usually it included information specifics like;
Location
Parking and Ramp info
And mportant to me....which species were present and sometimes even the best bait/lures to use.
I cannot find this info on the newly revamped site...can someone please point me in that direction?
Thank you...

Hmmm.....went there, tried that...didn't see anything.
I'll try again with a different lake.
Thank you...

Re: Lake Info?
You didn't see anything? The only thing on your list of things that is not currently there is the boat launch info, but it will return. Look at the charts! They have what you're looking for, no? What area are you looking up?
Re: Lake Info?
That section should be listed/arranged alphabeticaly, not by what looks like number of reports per lake.

Re: Lake Info?
Understandable. However, the presorted order of an all encompassing list should deter one from finding it useful. the sort order doesn't alter the content of the list.
All Photos, stats, charts, maps, hotspots, heat maps, and descriptions are available from that page. And a link back to the reports to boot.

Re: Lake Info?
I might be missing something here. But when I try to look for lake reports I come up with not much. If I search for Goodwin for example, there is 1 report that comes up.
Where do I find the information where it listed all reports for a certain body of water as well as sorting by species?
The old website there would be all of the reports for the body of water and you could search by month & species which was awesome and really helped out in research.

Re: Lake Info?
Up top. Main menu. Click on Reports. All Reports. Choose your area type (lake, marine, river...) and go from there. Find the area, filter the results by species.
Granted, the specific nuances of the various pages have changed. For instance, you can't filter the reports by month anymore (something we'll be adding back in). BUT, the list of reports you're looking for is located in Main Menu>Reports>All Reports.

Re: Lake Info?
I see it now for lake index, weird I couldn't find it for a bit. Anyways thanks Aaron!
Re: Lake Info?
The Lake Index wasn't there. Just added.
I think the issue here is that people are too focused on the phrasing I chose for this site update. All Reports is an index of area indexes. After choosing an Area Index, you get an index of that area TYPE. In your case, you're looking for the Lake Index, which is choice number on on the All Reports page. In other words, the Lake Index was just the first choice INSIDE the All Reports page.
Adding it to the menu system might relieve confusion, and that's OK.
