10-4 rockfishing... This should be a blast. The tourney is only one-day this year instead of the usual two-days it had been in the past. The odds are very good for Anglers to take home some great prize-money again this year. I've heard the field is already half-full at ten-teams. 20 teams is the maximum-limit for this tourney... Fishing in the Fall you gotta love it:)

I've just spoke to a couple of Tiger Angler friends from Lake Curlew, and Merwin Res., this evening and the fishing has been very good this weekend also... I've personally heard of 19 Tigers being caught and released on these two bodies of water alone so far this weekend... not bad... not bad at all. The largest being a 46-inch "Fatty" as it was described to me... See you on the water!

Curlew produced 13 muskies this weekend, my 46" being "second best". There was also a 47" caught in our group. This tournament should be a great one. If I wasn't going to be in Minnesota fishing the Gil Hamm, I would be there!!!

Answer to everyone, yes, we have 10 solid team entries and an 11th pending, as well as many more who have said they are mailing in their entries. I'm really looking forward to this.

We have one person with a boat who needs a team mate... so, we are also helping to match people up, if we are able to. It should be a great tournament. And, I love the 1 day change. It makes it easier on those who travel a long distance, besides being easier on the fish.

It's getting closer ... Hope to see you on the water!
