is my depth finder broke?

Post by tnj8222 » Sun Apr 18, 2010 3:33 pm

It was reading 61 - 66 degrees! Caught two fish. One about 2 1/2 the other a little over three. both on a 3/8 jig with a reaction innovation sweet beaver. Finally broke in my lami and pt tour reel.

Maybe it was air temp instead of water temp? Im not sure if they have that option on them. I dont use em. I just figured that might be he case.

Yah, water temps do seem to be climbing pretty quick especially with the mild weather lately... Spawn time?!

I will be out tommorow on trout or bass lake. Hopefully I get a pig.

As soon as the nights stopped being in the 30's in just a couple of days water temps went up about 10 degrees.

so is the water temp more of a earth-crust thing? Seems like water temps are rising quicker than air temps. still won't hear me complain though :P

Up in Snohomish county, I'm seeing temps from 52-54.5, and the bass are biting good! Oh Momma!
