Grant county

Post by gpc » Wed Jun 27, 2007 11:31 pm

On Sunday I'm going over to the potholes area for the week. The first couple of days we are going to be staying in the seep lakes. I think we are looking to stay at soda lake. The next couple of days we are going to be staying at wanapum dam. I don't think I will be fishing the Columbia, unless you guys think its worth it. But are there any good non hike in lakes around wanapum? I love the hike in lakes but I have torn cartilage in my knee so hiking isn't going to happen. Also any tips on potholes reservoir or any more of the seep lakes would be greatly appreciated. I have a small aluminum boat and a trolling motor

Go to Huchinson it is no gas motors. It is managed for huge Blue gill and LMB
It is down a long dirt road but well worth the drive.
I don't know if there is a topo map for it.
Talk to the guy's at Mardon about it.

I'm not in the toilet yet, but I'm definitely standing on the rim.

gpc- 2 must hit lakes in the seeps lakes area (for bass) are Morgan Lake if open and even worth rolling a wheel chair in. I have officially changed the name to 100 bass lake. (Halfmoon Lake is practicaly connected but has horrible access and just as loaded with Large Mouth)The Para's own the land (Para Homested) ajacent to the lake and Jake is not to cool. The other special lake is ......nevermind. Have fun and good luck! I too will be over there the end of next week and through the weekend. If you see a small (16') Skeeter tan and brown w/ gold flake blow your horn (safety device) and I'll say hi!
