water bobber & flies
I've seen an ole guy using a water bobber and flies on the Pend Oreille at the boat launch in metaline with somewhat good success. I was wondering if anyone else has and how to rig these up, like how long of a leader to use? I was thinking of doing this with my son from the shore since it may hold his interest longer than still fishing with worms.

I asked a simular question about fly's in a river. I'd imagine that the answer is simular. Check it out.

I have used a water bobber and fly with some success. I think the leader length should be as long as possible and still castable. The more distace you can put between the water bobber and the fly the better.
