Some lakes have restrictions on motors. Does that mean that you cannot USE Combustion motors or does that mean you can't HAVE them attached to your boat?
The regs manual has nothing that I can find. If it is in there, please post the page number. If not, maybe a link to something on the WDFW site?
Please, only respond if you can paste in a link to a verifiable source. I *think* I know the answer, but it won't get me any closer to knowing the truth if you tell me YOU think you know the answer as well but can't prove it.

RE:Regs and Motors
Aaron, the answer to your question is in the regs on page 32 under the Special Rules Instructions.
References in the Special Rules to "motors
prohibited" means that fishing from a floating
device equipped with a motor is prohibited.
"Internal combustion motors prohibited"
means that fishing from a floating device
equipped with an internal combustion motor is
prohibited. "Equipped with" means the motor
is attached to the floating device, regardless
of whether the motor is in the water.
