Questions about Lk Washington/Kirkland side
I was just stationed here and fish out of a pontoon. I live right next to Lake Washington and there is a launch a couple miles from my house. Anyone have any inside info about fishing on this side of the lake. Like I said I am in a pontoon so dont really want to row my a$$ all the way to the other side of the lake. I mainly trout fish but am willing to switch to bass if I must to catch fish over here....Thanks anyone!!!

RE:Questions about Lk Washington/Kirkland side
I have caught trout from Waverly Park to downtown kirkland. I've seen them devouring smolt in that area in early spring. People who fish the park on a regular basis claim to have seen some 10#ers. A 10 #er shouldn't be uncommon on a Lake this size but I haven't gotten that lucky in all the years that I've been fishin Washington. I have seen some 10+#ers jumping on the other side of Juanita bay, Northwest of Waverly park. They may have been Chinook salmon.

I worked at Yarrow Bay Marina, down Lk Wa Blvd from the launch. There are monster bass on the kirkland side on the lake. At sun up in June of 96 I watched a largemouth shallow a ducking at Yarrow Bay's gas dock. We used to catch one now and at lunch brake as well.
There is a ton of perch too
