one of my FAVORITE lakes is battleground lake, it is a volcanic lake and is very very deep in some spots.

this depth and the overall setting of the lake has produced some real monsters.

the cuttthroats that wdfw stocked last year in this lake get little to no fishing pressure and are growing large! some allready approaching 20"

the browns in here are large and get NO fishing pressure and some people are pulling in 5-10 lb browns outa here!

the rainbows well....are rainbows and get fished out easily with the right amount of pressure. although very large rainbows have been pulled out of here but they are scarce.

bass and catfish have been caught but are never targeted. this could mean some potentialy BIG bass are in here.

get out and fish this lake! because you never know what could be nibbling on the end of your line.
