Waders quality

Post by 66kma » Wed Aug 24, 2016 6:35 pm

Got new waders from Outdoor Emporium/ Caddis, breathable. First outing, feet are wet in neoprine part. Previous waders lasted almost 4 years. Any advise to get reliable waders, beside Simms? [wub]

I've been more than happy with my Cabela's G2 breathable waders. You might try exchanging them. Seems like even cheap waders should work right out of the box. Maybe you got a faulty pair.

I have caddis neoprene waders and caddis neoprene wading boots. My feet stay dry.

Me too, been using my for years now. Beside having to cut the feed down two sizes because they seem to think anyone around 5'10" or so has sized 13 to 15 feet, they've been great. My advice is to tell your feet to quit sweating.

You guys just need to stand in colder rivers! Winter steelhead = no sweaty feet! ⛄️

Actually, even in the warm days of Fall my stocking foot breathables don't seem to cause too much sweating. I try to save my full neoprenes for really cold weather. Those are a hot box in the summer.
