fishing trip to Winthrop

Post by mpagul » Sun Jul 26, 2015 8:00 pm

I am taking a little weekend trip to Winthrop to do some fly fishing along the Methow river. is there any easy to locate access points near the town or is it essentially find a spot and start walking. I was also wondering if anyone knew of any good fly fishing lakes nearby.

Hi mpagul,

Have you given the Reports on the front page a look? I was curious about the same as you & took a look there upon a members suggestion. Really good info as to whats hot & where. ( Thanks to all of you that take the time to post the reports!! ) You have prob already looked here, but: http://www.flyfishersproshop.com/blog/fish-map-2/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I don't know the area sorry. Have you given Google Earth a look & zoomed in & followed the river? Would give a good general idea of what there is along the river. Of course you prob already know all of this as your trip has already come & gone most likely.

Speaking of which, how did the trip go? Good catch?
