Sportsmans Show
How many of you happen to make it to the Sportsmans Show once a year to walk around or run a booth?
If in doubt set the hook!

RE:Sportsmans Show
I hear there is a BIG show coming to Spokane in February. I'm giving it some serious consideration. It depends on how much they will want for admission. If they want the price of a new fishing rod, then the rod will win.
Where you go is less important than how you get there.

RE:Sportsmans Show
Usually the show costs between $10-15 admission for a day and $5 parking fee unless you have a coupon that they give out on the internet every year which is like a $3 discount or something. The Sportsmans Show im talking about is In this huge Expo Center Held in Portland. But other Shows are worthy of being spoken of.

Bill and I go every year for at least one time. We've started going twice now that we have grandsons because we take them for a short visit (they are 5 and 7) to all things of interest to the kids and then Bill and I go by ourselves to see it all. We usually spend 4-6 hours and usually make one major purchase a year or at least check out the options of something we really want. Things like motors, electronics, etc. This year NWTIGERPAC, the new muskie club is probably going to have a booth there so we will be working in it too.

I go every year as there's always something new to see or learn. Last year I sat in the Lowrance class held by Jeff Boyer and learned more about using my GPS/sonar.
It's also a good thing to mosey by the Quantum booth and have the Parnell's steer you to where the buy on reels is. Or...the Dick Nite booth. Dilbert has a Dick Nite coffee cup that came from Dick's booth.

Last year I went to the one in Puyallup with the Grandson he is six. He caught two fish and got a free life jacket. Bought two poles and two reels, one for each of us. I am looking forward to going again.
A bad day of fishing, is better then a good day at work !!!!!!!

The Spokane Show is called the Big Horn Show and will be the thrid week in April. Yup, WashingtonLakes.com will be there. Be sure to visit our booth and say "hi". If the new web site isn't up yet we will have the beta version on display so you'll get a sneak peek.

Any Chance Washingtonlakes.com can make the trip to the Portland Show? I know it would be a hoot to meet some of you guys and have a good conversation to boot.
So, what are you selling at the booth, Bumperstickers and Trademarks?

I usually hit the Portland show every year. It's REAL nice not working at the dealership any more because setting up 40 or so boats on blocks, plus outboard racks, and everything else took alot of the luster away for a period.
I will be at the Portland Show in Feb, but might like to hit the Seattle show if I get a good heads up. Be cool to meet up with some of y'all up there.

RE:Sportsmans Show
Some day we may do the Portland show. But this year it's Spokane, I expect next year will be Puyallup.
Gear for sale - figure we will have license plates to give away, maybe T-shirts, hats, and we could very well run a raffle for gear. Just have to wait and see. As the time gets closer I may well put the call out for some help. The days can get pretty long behind those booths and a guy needs rest stops...
