Yakima river has it's head waters in Benton county.panfisher wrote:Tried to submit a report for the yakima river but could not find it!!!!!!!?
I know finding some of the rivers are tough because they run through several counties. I believe Aaron uses the USGS methodology of listing the river in the county of origin.

I recently found this out after inquiring about the section of the Snoqualmie River in King County. Although I understand why it's done this way, I can't say I'm fond of it. In previous years I'd incorrectly listed fishing one of the forks of the Snoqualmie in King County because I didn't know that you had to choose Snohomish County to select the Snoqualmie River main, so I just chose what was the closest fit.Mike Carey wrote:Yakima river has it's head waters in Benton county.panfisher wrote:Tried to submit a report for the yakima river but could not find it!!!!!!!?

Benton Co would be where the confluence of the Yak and Columbia is.

All I know is what am told. The river counties are determined by USGS information.Bodofish wrote:Did they move Lake Keetchelus to Benton Co? Interesting! Maybe that is why there are only 46 reports for this river. That or it really does not get fish'd much!!!!???
