Tiny pond at Lakewood Park north of Burien
Isnt much of a pond but does look like it could hold cats or panfish....anyone ever caught anything from here? Heard of anybody catching from here?
Probably a juvenile only pond but in that case might be good to take the kiddies.[/color]

Lake Garrett better known as Hick's Lake don't ask me why. I have lived in this area all my life and that's what we all called it didn't know it had any other name. Back to your question about fishing it up till about 15 years ago it was so polluted that they had it roped off to keep folk's away from it run off from septic tanks around the area and such. Not sure if there is any fish in it but give it a try.

Yes, I remember that lake, i went to junior-high and highschool next door. I remember it almost always having an oil slick on the surface when it rained, and trash all around the park. But i also remember maye 15 years ago seeing someone fish there and catching what must have been something in the spiney ray family. I am tempted to try this lake just to see what it holds, but definatly not eating anything from there.

Is that the lake that has a school to the south, and the par to the north, and a private house right at the entrance? If so, another of my work break locations.

Jerry's right, sketchy part of town,
friends dads said back in the day it was awesome for fishing
But if you've seen it, its toxic now

I play disk golf there all the time. wonderful park! I have seen some little fish taken out of the far pond but I don't think I'd eat anything that came out of there. Those ponds are to control the waste water run off. I won't even let my dog near them. If I have to retreve a disk, sanitizer for all exposed parts and the disk goes in a plastic bag till I can wash it. Still want to fish there?
Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!
