Now that the Ford 351 Redline is running like it should, it sounds like I've got some work to do on my jet pump. I have a Berkeley 12JI Pump w/Hyraulic Place Diverter on my 20' NW Jet Boat, and from reading the specs, my boat should be able to cruise at 32 mph turning 3600 rpm, and top out at WOT around 47 mph turning 4500 rpm. I've contacted a couple shops to get their recommendations on getting my Berkeley at peak performance.... we'll see what they say.

Still havent gone out yet.
When I'm off, the weather is off too. But then again, this spring has been pretty crappy.
But now the boat is 99.9% ready to hit the water. Just got new wheels and tires on today. New cables. New LED trailer lights.
Just need to get some gas and hope it starts.:batman:

Got back from the lake 1/2 hour ago. Fish are biting and sunny and a little wind. I even caught my first Bass for this spring. 2lb-9oz Smallie. Oh ya, the boat runs fine. HaHaHa

Mine was ready, till I blew the powerhead last week.
When you think you know it all, its time to quit. Knowledge should be gained on every trip.

When a piston collapsed/broke the skirt back in '02 Memorial Day evening while across the lake on Banks doing some night fishing, I decided not to have it rebuilt or replaced as the lower unit had been rebuilt twice and I didn't think it would hold up to the new stuff, so decided to buy a new motor for $14,000 installed. Oh well, at least I had the money at that time.
I had to wait until Aug. for the new '03 motors to come out as they were all sold out of the '02 motors.

Woot, another step closer. I had time to put some gas in the boat. Went down to the Fuel Farm and loaded up. I'm still not 100% sure it is ethanol free even after asking the attendant.
Anyways next week looks promising with nice weather. As long as the weather holds on my days off, the boat should get wet finally, and not from the rain this time.

I needed a new fish finder and my shifter cable is frozen. Just got the shifter cable today and I will be ready next week.
