I'll be spending a night in ocean shores this week, and despite the crappy weather, I'm wondering if there's anything worth bringing my fishing gear along for? I'm happy with anything that's table worthy, from perch on up - I'm rarely fished the coast and really don't know what's going on this time of year. Any lakes nearby? Oh, and shore, jetty, or dock fishing only; no boats. Thanks,
Chris

RE:Fishing Ocean Shores this week?
Only ocean fishing would be surf fishing and it is a bit cold and the surf is too high for that.
Duck lake is in Ocean Shores, and the trout have been hitting pretty good lately. Look Duck up in the featured lakes, there is some pretty good info. There are a few public docks you can fish from. Power bait and nightcrawlwers have been getting the fish.
