All I am hoping for this Christmas is some time on the ice doing some fishing.

But if Santa was really nice he would drop me off a new Mathews Bow and a couple dozen arrows:-"

The instore bargain cave? That's a killer deal. Bcalvert, I have this rod and it is one of my favorite rods in my arsenal. Its sensitivity is such that is is not a fair fight for the fish.

I don't really have anything I need, but what I want:

1) Shimano Cumara Rod (wholesports in fed way has a few cumaras on the floor) pair with a Core. This combination is unreal.

2) Lamiglas XMG mated to a Chronarch D or Curado E.

3) Daiwa Pixy

Well,

I think I am going to add another rod to the Santa list.

I was just at OE earlier today and to my surprise, the Abu G Vendetta rods were there.

I was very impressed at the casting rods for this price point in terms of their feel. The spinning rods felt awfully heavy. Just thought I'd let you guys know.
