Anyone have any tips/pointers for Fishing the Snake/Toucannon/Palouse?

Riggings?
Bait?
Lures?

I fish the Wenatchee River this year since its open.. Had some luck then the Fishing slowed down due to the number of fisherman... So its time to travel elsewhere.

We were fishing down from lyons ferry where the tucannon comes into the snake. We boated 4 legals biggest at 6lbs and released 4 wilds.. We were using shrimp baited with an egg loop under a bobber aiming for about 1-10ft off of the bottom.

I better practice the good ole egg loop. :) I know of a group that went down there and didn't catch a thing... The fish numbers are still up... My only assumption is they were doing something wrong... Thanks for the info.. All the advise is appreciated and im the type that will take all i can get!
