Please, no harrassing anglers for legally keeping a fish. It's their right as per the WDFW fishing regs. If you have a beef with that take it to WDFW. If you want to have a CIVIL discussion start a new thread and have a spirited, friendly debate about catch and release on that thread. If you want to use crude language and be rude and obnoxious to another member, find a different website to post on.

I know the issue of keeping big bass is a raw one, but that doesn't excuse using language you wouldn't use in a family setting, which is the standard this website strives for.

I'd like to express my regrets at sparky101's comment toward you. It was rude, crude, and in no way tolerated by this site. He has been suspended for one month, and if he ever does this type of post again will be gone permanently.

I appreciate your being a member of WL.com and hope this experience will not make you think harshly of the site. 99.9% of the anglers that post on this site are first rate and willing to help and share information. It's unfortunate there's always that one or two that ruin it for everyone else.

We are commited to keeping this forum and website a civil and enjoyable place to visit. Anyone that doesn't share that view is encouraged to go elsewhere, because they are not welcome here.

Just got back from San Diego and I fished the El Capitan Reservoir while I was there. Some of these (maybe all) may not be worthy of this board

Nice fish bmd, on behalf of Sparky I hope we can get him back on here soon, he is a great fisherman and adds alot to this site and would be sorely missed if he wasnt allowed to post. just my opinion on this.

I hope while he cools off Sparky will realize if some guy went up to HIS wife and said what he said, he would be ready to punch the guy out, as would all of us. Sparky won 2nd place at the BBQ/Derby and seemed like a good guy. I'm hoping he mans up and does the right thing. My In Box is waiting.
