fishaholictaz, some of my friends think im crazy but its all in the fun!!!! if i start breaking lines then ill move up in lbs test. i just hate having 8-10 lbs test and catching 2-5 lbs fish. all you do is lock up the drag and skip the fish in.. lol. but it will be a blast on ultra light gear!!!!!!!

They’re here!!! Although it is still a flurry fishery, they are in the Skagit in catchable numbers. Spent some time on the anchor across from the Gardener Bar and it was fun watching the plunkers. A rod on the downstream end of the bar would go off and then every other rod all the way to the upstream side of the bar would get bit in succession. Not all caught, but fun to watch. Most of the fish were spin-n-glow and sand shrimp fish. After cleaning the boat up and a quick shore bound trip to Gardner Bar, 3 humpies volunteered to spend a few hours in my smoker.
