I heard there was a derby then. Maybe that's why. OK, ok, I think because the king season has been slow.

Hey, just wondering if anyone could give a few gear tips.

What test lb line to use for main and leader. I want to be on the safe side in case some good size Coho or King snatches it, but light enough so that I am still targeting Pinks... Does it make sense? How long between dodger or flasher and lure?

Thanks

fisherdane, i think im going to go with some ultralight gear this year. depending what size fish im catching then i might go a little bigger. ill probably start with some really light 4 or 6 lbs test and if i hook a silver then its on!!!! if i land it i land it, if not, then so be it. but if that happens ill probably go up to maybe 8 or 10. i hate it when you have a 4-5 lbs fish and you have on 12 lbs test line, not much fun to me. ive always gone on the light side as i enjoy the fight. especially if im in a boat, you can kinda chase the fish down if need be. atleast thats my theory, that normally worked for me and was a ton of fun in hawaii. i just hope that same theory works in the rivers. just cant wait to get out there!!!

Well, I hope to go to Dash Point pier on Thursday. I hope I will be catching.
On the 2nd the creel report said Dash Point had 20 pinks.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
